From Russia With Love

 In case you’re too young to remember, “From Russia With Love” was a 1963 spy thriller of a movie with Sean Connery. 😎
We’ve heard plenty about Russia in the news, during and since the presidential election. Russian hacking of the election, Donald Trumps’ escapades in a Russian hotel, Trumps’ Russian connections, etc. have been at the forefront of the news.
This effort by the media serves two purposes very well. First, it is an effort to diminish Trump, and second it reinforces in the minds of Americans, the image of Russia as the evil nation, an image that has been planted there by years of propaganda. If it wasn’t for Russia, what excuse would Congress have for the appropriation of billions of taxpayer dollars to the military/industrial/security complex.
Of course we can’t be so naive as to view Russia as the shining city on the hill, but please don’t compare our record with theirs over the last 25-30 years. An honest assessment won’t make you proud…….. unless you don’t count bombing and killing.

The following video is not meant to totally change your image of Russia but it may color your perception a tiny bit. I have to admit that I was pretty well mesmerized as I watched.  😀
